Nyx Modding will close to new posts at midnight on December 13, 2009.

registrations, new threads, replies, and file uploads will be disabled. existing discussions will stay online, and playable builds will remain linked where a working copy is still available.

the server will remain up, but there will be no further site updates or account support.

thanks to everyone who built, posted, and tested strange little games here over the years.

glad the old threads are staying up. there is a lot of useful testing history in them.

thanks for keeping the forum online. this place taught me how to accept bug reports.

good run. hard to believe Escape the Prison was the first project thread.

thank you NyxAdmin for hosting us and keeping the spam bots out all these years. Bloodswepper would never have been made without this board.

still proud of the Bird Flap discovery thread. glad the mirror and all the theories will stay preserved here for posterity.

preserving the rare web builds and obscure ports was an honor. this archive will be a time capsule of 2000s indie web game culture.

thanks to everyone who tested Clicker Fun Game and pushed the spring physics engine to its limits. great community.

Escape the Songs was my favorite project to code. thank you all for the attempt logs and feedback over the years.

Run! found its true audience here. happy that the crypt runner will remain playable online.

learned so much about game loops and grid collision from the folks here. thanks for everything.

Park the Car was a labor of love. glad the garage pack has a permanent home in the archive.

thanks NyxAdmin. Nightmate Match and all the memories here will not be forgotten.

Let's Go Gambling was my parting gift to the community. cheers to everyone on Nyx Modding.

been here since week one in 2003. sad to see the active days end, but overjoyed that the archive is staying up.

end of an era. catch you all on IRC and MSN. long live Nyx Modding.

thank you NyxAdmin and all the devs. see you on the other side.
