Thread: Let's go gambling

Yo all! I've been working on a massive update for my browser game suite, Let's Go Gambling. It's now a full retro casino lobby with three separate game modes:

1. Slots: The classic 3-reel slot machine we all know.
2. Coin Flip: A fast-paced 50/50 heads or tails guess game with a 3D-like spinning coin. Pays 2x Bet.
3. Mines: An incredibly fun 5x5 grid Mines sweeper. Place your bet, pick the mine count (3 to 24), and reveal safe gems to grow multipliers. You can cash out at any point, but hitting a mine blows up your bet!

The cool part is that all three game modes share the exact same fictional balance ($50 starting) and are tied to a single goal: reach a balance of $1,000 to beat the house!

Like my previous work, all wood clicking ticks, C-major win chimes, coin spins, mines explosions, and jackpot sirens are procedurally synthesized in real-time via the browser's Web Audio API.

Here are some screenshots of the new suite:

2. Double-Or-Nothing Coin Flip

3. Minefield Occult Sweeper Grid

What is your maximum fictional profit? Which mode did you use to hit the $1,000 goal?

Dude, the Mines game is absolutely legendary! I went broke in Slots within 3 minutes, hit the reset button to get another $50, and went straight to Mines.

I set it to 15 mines, clicked 2 safe tiles, and got a massive multiplier. Cashing out was so tense. The rising pitch of the procedural chimes as you click safe gems is extremely satisfying. Solid release!

I reviewed your Mines payout math. You coded a mathematically perfect probability multiplier with a clean 2% house edge! That's incredibly elegant.

The Coin Flip mode is super nice for a quick double-down too. I landed 4 heads in a row with a $10 bet and made enough to push my Slots balance over the $1,000 goal.

Finally hit $1,000 by playing Coin Flip! Got 6 correct Head/Tail flips in a row. The 3D-like spinning coin animation looks so smooth. Very addicting slot and card mod suite.
